چکیده
Objective The treatment of large aneurysms the posterior circulation is complicated and remains challenging. We here analyzed our institutional clinical outcomes unruptured circulation. Methods This study included 56 patients who presented with a (>10 mm) aneurysm between 2002 2018. Results There were 18 (32.1%) male 38 (67.9%) female patients, mean age 53.4 years. most common location was vertebral artery, followed by basilar tip cerebral artery. median follow-up duration 29 months. Eighteen treated transcranial surgery endovascular (EVT). Posttreatment complications occurred in 16 (28.6%), there being no significant difference EVT groups. Complete obliteration achieved 30 (53.6%), statistically Recurrence 17 (30.4%), rate recurrence higher group than (39.5% vs. 11.1%, p=0.03). Forty-four (84%) showed favorable functional outcome. In saccular aneurysm, negative predictor worsening status. Conclusion Treatment these harbors an inherent high risk morbidity. No superiority found terms complete obliteration, but durability EVT.

AIM Complete aneurysm obliteration reduces the risk of rebleeding and is an important goal of the aneurysm treatment. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Patients with posterior circulation strokes have been excluded from recent randomized endovascular stroke trials. We reviewed the recent multicenter experience with endovascular treatment of posterior circulation strokes to identify the clinical, radiographic, and procedural predictors of successful recanalization and good neurological outcomes. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to determine the outcomes of surgical clipping in patients with unruptured middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysms. METHODS A retrospective single-center database of 125 consecutive patients with 143 small MCA aneurysms (< 10 mm) who underwent surgical clipping was reviewed from January 2007 to December 2010. Clinical outcomes were assessed based on surg...
متن کاملClinical outcomes of ruptured and unruptured vertebral artery-posterior inferior cerebellar artery complex dissecting aneurysms after endovascular embolization.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Surgical treatment of VA-PICA dissecting aneurysms is difficult and complication of LCNP is common. These lesions can be approached easily with endovascular technique, but complete obliteration can only be achieved in a small number of cases. Our aim was to report the clinical outcomes of VA-PICA dissecting aneurysms treated by endovascular embolization. MATERIALS AND M...
